Meet our Founder!

Hey there! I’m Jillian Orr, the founder of Catalyst, and I’m all about helping organizations connect with, inspire, and understand the next generation. For almost a decade, I’ve been working directly with Gen Z, hiring, training, and, yes, sometimes firing—so I know what makes them tick, what challenges them, and how they can absolutely shine when given the right support.

Here’s a bit about my background:

• Education in Psychology and Leadership: I hold a Certification in Organizational Leadership from Harvard along with a degree in Psychology from BYU—giving me a solid foundation in understanding human behavior and effective management practices.

• DEI Certification from Cornell University: I’m also certified in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion through Cornell University, equipping me with the tools to foster inclusive and empowering environments that respect every individual’s unique background and strengths.

• Extensive Gen Z Expertise: With over 10 years of hands-on experience, I’ve hired, trained, and managed hundreds of Gen Z professionals, gaining unique insights into what drives and motivates them in today’s fast-paced workplace.​

• Engaging Speaker and Trainer: From leading trainings and speaking at conferences to being featured on Good Morning America, I’m passionate about sharing practical, evidence-based strategies that help organizations truly connect with their teams.
